I’m also working on an app that does the same (but just that) and my name is [myflamary]. I have a working version running, but I have to modify some things to make it more complete. Right now it just copies one file or folder at the time, but I want to be able to select the files I want to copy, and also to sort the files (it already sorts them, but I want to control it) and to copy the selected files to another directory. My program will also allow the user to copy or not files that the user does not want to keep. Just like this program, my program is using the portable device to store the files, and it will be able to copy directly to the USB port as well.

For all of those who are interested, I’m using a Windows 8 x64 computer with a USB 3.0 port, and it is working like a charm. It has been a month working on it and I want to finish the application soon. I have a lot of work to do for my project, but it is going to be very cool to release it. I’m already working on the code, but I want to make sure that it is working. Right now I’m testing it and I have to fix the following things:

1. Implementing a function to copy a folder

2. Implementing a function to sort the files

3. Implementing a function to show the files size

4. Implementing a function to create thumbnails for the images

5. Showing the folder name on the clipboard for clipboard paste.
