Hello, I work with Python and GPS modules. I needed to decode and print some sentences from my GPS log to the console. I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to implement this. I saw lots of examples but I couldn’t find any useful info.
This is my code so far:
import os, sys, gps, time, glob
sys.path.append(‘/usr/src/OpenGPSX/3rdparty’)
os.environ[‘PYTHONUNBUFFERED’] = ‘True’

import OGSPSX
sys.path.append(‘/usr/src/OpenGPSX/packages/gps/’)
OGSPSX.OGSPX = ‘/usr/src/OpenGPSX/gps/’
import OGSPSX.OGSPXModule
OGSPSX.OGSPX.PROPERTY_NMEA_1843_Parser = ‘/usr/src/OpenGPSX/packages/NMEA_1843_parser/’
OGSPSX.OGSPX.PROPERTY_NMEA_180_Parser = ‘/usr/src/OpenGPSX/packages/NMEA_180_parser/’

data = []
try:
with open(‘data.gpr’, ‘r’) as fin:
fin.readlines()

OpenGPSX Crack +

OpenGPSX is an easy to use Qt5-based program for the easy measurement, display and recording of data from NMEA-based devices. It is written in Lazarus and uses the Opentk and FreeMap Open Source project as a basis, and features a Qt5-based user interface.
Another NMEA-based application is “nmea2json” written in Java.
Several NMEA-based port plugins for Garmin devices are available in

The program can run on all platforms where GTK1 is supported (Win32, OSX, Linux and Unix). GTK1 is a toolkit (guick toolk) for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) on programs for desktops and servers.
GTK1 is well known with the GNOME and KDE desktop projects.
Other GTK1 libraries are:

The OpenVBA ( library allows you to develop a graphical user interface with the VBA language (Visual Basic for Applications). It was developed by Roberto Carli and is based on the VBFOX project ( It is a free project for users of OASIS Xtraslib (

The GTK1 version of this project is a small example program that shows how to use OpenVBA and VBFOX. The application is called “TinyGarminSat” and it’s a very very small example to show how to integrate the OpenVBA and VBFOX projects into a small application.
I tested it in Linux and Windows. The project will be updated as soon as the project gets some Linux users
I am looking for Linux users to test the Linux version and to help me to integrate the project with other packages.
Minimum system requeriments:
OS X Lion, Lion, Maverick or Mountain Lion 10.7
Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows Server 2008 R2
