I would want to use this and use the 3ds max export plugin only to convert to fbx to then use blender and render it. But I cant seem to figure out how to give it a.fbx file as an input?

This version does not work with Revit 2017. If you need to export objects (for instance a geometry), you should use the plugin for Blender or Maya.
This version works with Blender 2.79.

First one has said that this is not in maintenance mode. Well it should be, cause I already stopped trying that version, if it doesn’t worc now, it wont be any time soon.

Second one should have basicly said that it works with Revit 2017, It doen’t, the new one you posted last week, does

third one, I’m sorry, but it does work with Revit 2017, so for me, the answer is yes.

Fourth one, you have found something, that is an exe that you are able to use for free with Mac. I think that is a huge plus, cause I’m sure that something like that exists for windows, but I’m not sure that it works with Revit, so maybe that’s something that you will need to try out.
