When the active listening setting is selected the user will receive a vibration message and a sound prompt to alert the user that the probe is receiving an audio signal. The user can be present within the range of the repeater and activate the system. When the user is within the range of the repeater (1) the Proximity to the probe setting will shift to ‘in range’. If the user remains within the range, the repeater will continue to communicate with the probe. This will provide the longest range possible in its class for HF communications.
