Elden is a truly living fantasy role-playing game with a living world that is rich with lore and detail. The story revolves around the Ring of Elden, an ancient magical artifact that was lost for thousands of years. The elden ring descends from a world of elves and fairies, and is said to have been the source of the elven healing arts. The ring is said to have been lost in the same era in which the djinn were driven from their lands, and would be returned to at the end of time. Today, the elden ring has descended to the human world, and it is up to the boy who bears the ring, Tarnished, to retrieve it. To start the new fantasy role-playing game, you will first rise to a level of 100 and battle the eight guardians. But an evil mage, Midrash, has secretly snuck in and encased the seven worlds in a bubble, plunging the land into a prolonged state of war. In order to unify the seven worlds, you will be tasked with becoming a new hero to unveil the seven talismans. To do so, you will need to reach the maximum level of 400. This new fantasy role-playing game is an action RPG, and features an entirely new story. As you gain experience, you can build up a party, raise your character’s levels, and develop your skills to be able to face a variety of challenges that will spring up before you. However, once a player has become a mid-boss through some unwavering feat of combat, players no longer have to grind levels to obtain them. Their level is assumed to be consistent with the vast amounts of experience they can grant with their presence.
There are five kinds of mid-bosses in Elden Ring, the true boss of the best of the best. Mid-bosses are the direct game-causing monsters in the game. They have their original jobs from the beginning. It is within their original job, however, that they naturally stand out from one another. Their original jobs are as follows:
◆◆◆◆ As the name suggests, Tarnished is a game that does away with the good-vs-evil paradigm, instead opting for a heavier use of light and dark elements, and what is perhaps a more familiar approach to fantasy storytelling. I certainly love games with a much more layered story than most RPGs throw at us, and the worlds of Tarnished are certainly that – but then, I think they’re much more layered than most such stories (as you’d expect from being written by the developers of popular strategy games like Total War and ROME II). The first instance is that there is much, much more to the story than what the game actually lets on. There are four main story arcs; the Elden Ring, The Breach, The Dead, and The Hollow. The game starts with you finding a ring – a mysterious, possibly enchanted ring that protects the bearer from corruption, and the four boxes are an essential part of this story. Many people have been looking for the ring, and so the breach was caused when a large part of the world was destroyed in order to find it. The dead are the corrupted ones that we can either recruit and help us fight the breach, or kill to preserve their lives. And the hollow are people who have failed in their quest, and as a result are trapped in a different version of the world. The player, as a great hero, sets out to restore balance and end this war of corruption and then take up the quest to get the ring. While there’s not much you can say about the story, its richness is evident in its style of storytelling. A combination of movie-like cutscenes with character dialogue, every piece of information is relayed in a way that’s usually optional – and can even be skipped if you want. For instance, you can skip the cutscenes in the Dead and Hollow arcs and still have a story that’s quite fine, although without the emotional impact that cutscenes brings. The same goes for the illustrations – while they’re not important to the story in any way, they are just as good as what we see in the cutscenes, and like the cutscenes, they’re also optional. What I didn’t like however was the combat. Combat is turn-based, like most RPGs, but instead of the usual “auto block” button, you can block by moving in the direction that the enemy is facing. In addition, the player can not only receive equipment through the “Heroes’ Gear” system, but also gain experience by using it. Players are given the chance to make use of a wide range of scenarios in the game world. The number of situations is increased to encompass not only the familiar various scenarios that can be played in the form of quests in the world, but also much more dynamic and varied situations, such as the ever-changing event where the player has an encounter with a monster, or the encounter with the interior of a dungeon. A new method of battle is a template that uses magic power as a weapon, allowing players to enjoy a battle scene that draws the player into a word of their own imagination.

They lived in the lands between and have hidden the Elden Barons. The Elden Lords created by the Barons have been scattered to the seven shards.
