An early AutoCAD user interface
The broad user base AutoCAD currently has makes it one of the most widely used CAD programs, far behind some of its main competitors. AutoCAD is the flagship product of Autodesk. It is also the most popular CAD software used in the oil and gas industry. Its popularity has contributed to the success of Autodesk and has helped the company to become one of the largest software companies in the world.
Since AutoCAD is a commercial product, the price of a license depends on the model, number of users and other factors. A basic license for a single user is currently about US$1,500, a medium-size license is around US$4,500.
History
The first known CAD program was designed by Ernő Rubik in Budapest in 1958. In 1959, Rubik’s software was exhibited in New York’s Madison Square Garden, which helped to spread the idea of CAD. However, since the program was designed for the Hungarian microcomputer of the time, it only covered basic technical drawings, such as drafting.
AutoCAD history
In 1976, Autodesk was founded, selling a copy of Rubik’s software to users of its first graphics terminal. During the 1970s, a single terminal with large paper rolls was expensive and hard to use. This prompted Autodesk to develop the first commercial CAD software, originally called CAD (Computer Aided Design). In 1978, the same year when Rubik developed his microcomputer-based CAD software, Autodesk introduced AutoCAD at the conference of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) in Denver. AutoCAD was introduced as a “homebrew” CAD program by a team of Autodesk engineers and it was designed to fill the space between the CAD drafting program, known as AUTOCAD, and the smaller, hobbyist-level CAD programs.
In 1979, Autodesk released its first CAD product, AutoCAD. It was developed by a team of engineers headed by John Kasarda. As a result of its success, Autodesk was acquired by a private venture in 1982, renamed to Autodesk, Inc., and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In 1992, Autodesk acquired Allegro, Inc., a small startup developer of CAD software.

Is there a way to download the whole apk, not just a single file?
I have a problem when I download apk files. When I click download link, it downloads all the files on the apk files, but I only need a single file. Is there a way to download the whole apk, not just a single file? Thank you for your help.
