– All the other plans were making use of the island of Phoronix. We could fly there, catch the train, cross the bridge and take the room. But if the location has no relation to the game, what was the point of all these travel plans? We had to come up with an island related to the story somehow.-
So it’s more like we plan to use islands as alternatives to the backdrops in the game world. This would also make sense, because the game’s story unfolds through the characters’ dialogs and the puzzles.
It’s impossible to get the “best” recipe in the game, but there’s a certain order in which the characters will ask for ingredients and in which order they may reveal that they’re needed for the cook-off. You can interrupt the process and get all the necessary ingredients at once, but they’re going to be earned in the order they’re being presented.
The characters also have different reactions when they find out that certain ingredients are needed for the cook-off. If they’re angry, disappointed or happy, they’ll present their reaction with the related dialog.
So, you may find the recipe that will satisfy the person you’re cooking for.

Although I also played an RPG before, I don’t have a lot of patience with them. It’s too hard for me to have to memorize the entire structure of the game before I can start playing. I don’t have the attention span for that and it’s too much of a chore to have to do. I like strategy

Let’s talk about the basics first. How does your character start? Well, it doesn’t need to be much at all. You can take your unique Fire Hero (including a certain Arise) to level 1 and start right away, or you can level up your character after choosing where you want to go next. In between every dungeon floor you are able to restore your stats, get a little more experience points and grow a bit stronger, but no matter what you choose it seems like you are put off to level up a bit.
Starting missions are pretty easy and a relatively quick way to get a headstart on what your character can do, and I suppose it’s pretty easy to just start that one because it’s the shortest trip. At first, in the first mission, your options are limited, as you only have 3 party members. However, more can be unlocked as you play the game (some of them by choice and some by completing chapters a certain way).
The next dungeon a few missions away is a little bit more complicated. First you choose what monster type you want and where you want to go. It can be a town, as in the first mission, a mystery dungeon or a separate dungeon. The main difference in the first mission is that you didn’t have to worry about the monster types being in the local area. As you progress, the monsters you can use are more varied, requiring you to choose the level of monster, and how difficult it is to catch.
Also, some missions even include traps that you have to open on your way to the dungeon. The main and most common one I played was to go through a room and pop out in another room of different treasure chest color. It’s important to remember, however, that as you go to different environments, your characters get more and more powerful. Your highest power character has a starting level of 40.
