However, a storm blows your plan off course and you’ll soon find out that running an oil rig offshore is far more dangerous than you had ever imagined… The day has finally come for you to take a leap of faith and start up the oil rig. Although your goal is to make the most profit possible, you will never forget the trials and tribulations you will face with the maintenance of an offshore oil rig. First of all, the nature is unforgiving. The wind and the waves can and will at anytime turn the ocean into an epic storm. In return, the boat can and will be swept away by rogue waves and sunk by a rogue tide. You will also have to deal with ocean pirates and your countermeasures have to be on par with their homemade weaponry. This game has you on high alert since not only can they see you, they can also see your piped gas and diesel supply that you have to replenish on the rig. You will have to take care of all this yourself and that means it will take time and a lot of concentration to achieve the required ration of fuel to keep the rig running. But you are more than just a supply driver. You are also responsible for the safety of the entire rig crew and for that, you will have to act as a medic and as a cook. And that’s not all – you also have to work on your own planning skills to ensure the best setup for your rig in order to make the most profit possible.
