This tool runs on system startup and loads various drivers required for the system to function normally. However, this is a tricky application that crashes sometimes.

The following problematic situations have been reported.

– The following error will occur when you use ZwSetSystemInformation method to enable or disable some of the drivers:

– A driver may not be loaded when the service control manager (SCM) or NtLoadDriver method is used.
– Verify that the driver is using the correct protocol.
– If the driver uses the minimal protocol, the SysSetupServiceControlParameters method works with normal drivers.
– If the driver uses the extended protocol, do the following:
– Find the SetupServiceControlParameters method in the [System Service Control Manager](
– Set the SysSetupServiceControlParameters value.
– Reload the driver with the method NtLoadDriver or SCM.
– Optional: set the parameter TerminatePrevInstances to 2
– Optional: set the parameters HandleErrorContinueExecution, and NormalRebootAction to 2
– If the driver is already loaded when you set the above parameters, the driver will not be reloaded. You must reload the driver manually after you run the above parameters.

Known issues:
– In windows ver. 10 or after, there is a known issue with the above parameters and driver reload. Please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide.
– In windows ver. 10.0.17134.0 or after, there is a known issue with the SetupServiceControlParameters method, when the driver uses the extended protocol. Please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide.
– In windows ver. 10.0.15363.0 or after, the driver will not be reloaded with the NtLoadDriver or SCM method. Please use the ZwSetSystemInformation method to enable and disable the driver.
